Why participate?

• The objective of the ARGUS survey is to find out how common HIV, viral hepatitis and syphilis infections are in men who have sex with other men (MSM) living in the province of Quebec. We will also gather information concerning the sexual practices of MSM, especially those that may be associated with transmission of these infections.
• The realities associated with HIV infection are changing and it’s important to regularly gather information to support and adapt preventive interventions.

How do I participate?

• We are asking you to answer an anonymous, on-line, self-administered questionnaire.
• Completing the questionnaire will take approximately 15 minutes of your time.

Is this anonymous?

• Your participation is ANONYMOUS and completely voluntary. YOU CANNOT BE IDENTIFIED IN ANY WAY. A unique code identifier will be created using your day of birth, the first letter from your first name, the first letter of your city of birth and the first letter from your mothers first name. This information will be collected at the end of this survey and will be discarded once the code has been generated.

Is this voluntary?

• This survey is entirely voluntary; you are free to withdraw at any point from the survey. If you do the survey, you are free to not answer any questions you do not want to.
